When a little girl close in age to her niece came to visit Dr. Carli Loss, the orthodontist felt something awaken in her heart. Her 4-year-old patient was suffering from systemic dental disease. When Dr. Loss informed the child’s aunt of the condition, she could see the suffering in the woman’s own eyes.
